§ I just wanted to let Hero know that Saturday I won a 6hr Solo Mountain Bike race and on Sunday, won my age group and finished 8th overall woman at a trail half-marathon. Since I participated in both and won, I won the Queen of the Mountain award! Not too bad for someone who decided to 'upgrade' to a titanium plate ;) Thanks Hero!!! Marcey Rader-Rhodenbaugh § “I had been suffering from a bad right hip for several months when I went to see Dr. Jones. He took x-rays and saw that I had a large bursa on my hip and some arthritic changes in my lower back. He gave me an injection of cortisone and suggested I see a physiatrist first for some rehab. After several visits to the physiatrist and several cortisone shots, my pain seemed to worsen. I had several rounds of physical therapy and decided I wanted to see Dr. Jones again. That's when he suggested that PRP injections might prove helpful. I had an MRI which revealed a small tear in my gluteus minimus. I've just had my third PRP injection and my pain is almost completely gone! I found the procedure relatively painless and the process fascinating to watch. Dr. Jones and his entire staff are beautiful people intent on making you feel better. They did that for me. I am now able to walk without pain and to work in my garden. Thank you, Dr. Jones.” Thanks again, Carolyn Booth

§ "Dr. Jones is not just a great surgeon; he puts himself in his patients' shoes and walks a mile. He considers the needs and lifestyle you have. The first rule of a physician is ‘do no harm’. Dr. Jones understands that the way to achieve that is by seeing the whole person and then planning treatment to get you back on track." ~Daniel Lincoln 12 time NCAA All American American Steeplechase Record Holder (8:08)
§ "My experience with Doctor Jones and the entire staff at Impact Orthopaedics was great from the very start. I really felt that the people here are invested in their patients and the care they provided was truly genuine. I felt at ease and had total confidence in Dr. Jones. ~Adam Chavis Carolina Ballet
§ “I can't believe it. Less than four weeks to go and I'll be running my 9th marathon. True, I work hard and train hard, but there's no way I could have run 26.2- mile races all these years without Dr. Rob Jones of Impact Orthopaedics, a first-rate orthopedist and sports medicine specialist. At my age, 83, arthritis, bursitis and tendinitis are quite common and believe me, I've had more than my share of those demons in every joint of my body. Also, those runners' injuries that make you feel you're truly part of that elite group -- herniated disk, rotator cuff problem and knee pains, were rapidly diagnosed and treated by Dr. Jones. Thanks to him I never had to miss a marathon since my first one in 2000. Not only was his treatment on the mark, but he followed the progress of my recovery.” ~Iris June Vinegar
§ “I was referred to Dr Jones by Brian Conly, PT of Advanced PT for a very bad ‘shin splint’ about 5 weeks before the Chicago Marathon. I wasn't able to put pressure on my leg never mind the thought of running. Dr Jones treated me aggressively and provided guidance on how to continue to train for the marathon without being able to run. After being in a boot for about a week I was back to running (much easier then what I was doing) and continued to train. ~Kind regards,
§ “Thank you very much for the wonderful treatment of my broken foot. You all have been so kind and thoughtful and have made recovery a bearable process. Keep up the good work!” ~Rachel
§ "Thanks to you I am in the race – 3rd from the back, actually in Serbia. Doing well – Thanks so much" ~Lord Bless, George
§ "I just wanted to say thanks for a great experience today. Dr. Jones and his staff were nothing short of perfect. I really appreciated everybody's time, patience and desire to help." ~Eric
§ Dear Dr. Jones and staff, “Mark, Andy, and I wanted to thank you for the excellent care you have given Andy over the last 5 months. While we are very happy his leg has healed, we will miss our regular visits with you all. We feel very blessed that the night Andy broke his leg; Dr. Jones was on the sidelines. Thank you for everything you have done." ~Sincerely, Jackie, Mark, & Andy Fairchild
§ Dear Dr. Jones: “I was declared ‘over the hill’ by 3 orthopedic surgeons when I tore my ACL skiing and none of them had interest in performing ACL reconstruction surgery. My age was the only consideration for this decision because I was in very good physical shape and very active. Thank goodness one of these surgeons referred me to Dr. Robert Jones. From our very first meeting, he believed I would be an excellent candidate for surgery and would return to the ski slopes by the next season. His skill and his positive attitude were so critical to my surgical outcome and my post-operative recovery. He uses outstanding therapists that contribute greatly to the full recovery. I want to be sure that other baby boomers are not discouraged when they too want to find a surgeon. Please meet with Dr. Robert Jones to see the difference a positive attitude, a belief in activities at all ages and outstanding surgical ability can make.” (59 year old patient)
